Ben Harris is urgently looking for a Transmission Engineer to work a 12-month rolling contract based in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Transmission or IP Network Solutions working with OSN 8800 Series, OSN 1800 Series, Ciena equipment.
Requirements:
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, especially sometimes facing Overtime remotely commissioning work.
- Experienced in working as project/delivery engineer in-network for boards expansions, software upgrades and migrations of services.
- Extensive experience in Transmission Operations & Maintenance, Project roll-out, Planning and Design of transmission networks including SDH, DWDM/OTN, Optical Fiber, with hands-on experience.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of service delivery experience.
