Senior RF Performance Test Engineer

First Point Group is recruiting on behalf of a client, a leading-edge technology industry, who is looking for a Senior RF Performance Test Engineer.

My client is expanding rapidly in the OpenRAN /5Garea – the environment is similar to a start-up one (in R&D setting).
You will be called upon to design and develop embedded software applications and drivers for the OpenRAN 5G and 4G mMIMO radio platforms.

Location: Dallas Metro area
US Citizen and Green cardholder – will consider H1B transfer

Job Description:
=============
> Preferred 5+ years of experience in real-time, embedded software development
> Must have working experience of real-time, embedded Linux kernel and device drivers
> Direct experience with radio software development is preferred
> Possess working knowledge of ARM, RISC processor architecture will be a plus
> Experience with a diagnosis of system issues at hardware, kernel and application software level
> Experience with software profiling and optimization techniques
> Strong coding skills in C, C++, Python, and shell scripting
> Experience with Agile development environment
* A plus for the following *
> Experience with Continuous Integration framework is a plus
> Knowledge of radio systems and mobile networks, especially on 3GPP LTE 4G and 5G standards is a plus
> Knowledge of OpenRAN architecture and protocols
